Ultra X 110 Morocco 2023

Nicknamed the door of desert, Ouarzazate is positioned in south-central Morocco, south of the High Atlas Mountains. This course will take you on a sensory journey, past Kasbahs, through traditional fortified villages, lush oasises and over rocky desert whilst being supported by the wonderful local population. During this unforgettable weekend, competitors will experience the place, the people, and the beauty of this iconic country in full.

There are two stages, Saturday and Sunday. The first stage is 60km and will commence at 08:00. The second stage is 50km and will commence at 08:00 too. There are checkpoints stationed approximately 12km apart where competitors can access water, shade/shelter, and, if necessary, medical support.

Competitors will sleep at their accommodation (we advise the race hotel – which can be booked when you register for the race) in Ouarzazate on the Friday before and the Sunday after the race. On Saturday night, competitors will camp near Tazentout, where they can enjoy osteopathy/physiotherapy treatment, medical care, and hot water with which to rehydrate their dehydrated meals.
