Ultra X 110 & 50 Madeira is a ultramarathon that takes place in and around Madeira. Madeira is an autonomous Portuguese island and the largest and most populous of the Madeira Archipelago (Porto Santo and the Desertas being the others).
The island is an oasis of green, with incredible natural pools carved out of lava rocks, gorgeous cliffs overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean and charming towns. It is located in a region known as Macaronesia, just under 400 kilometres to the north of the Canary Islands and 520 kilometres west of the Kingdom of Morocco.
