Born Survivor - STORM THE CASTLE 2019

Recruit your buddies for the UK's Ultimate Obstacle Course Mission set at the stunning Lowther Castle within the monster backdrop of Lake District National Park! This is simply the toughest and most rugged Born Survivor Course of them all and one that is certainly worthy of the awesome medal that will be pinned on your chest after completing this glorious mission! Test your physical/mental resolve and in doing so forge a team camaraderie that can only be replicated in a Military inspired environment.

What To Expect:

This course is designed by Elite Royal Marine Commandos and features over 30 + Awesome Military Grade Obstacles spread over 12km of undulating Lake District terrain! This is the optimum test for teams/individuals and guaranteed to take you on the ultimate adventure. You will negotiate breathtaking slides, cold water obstacles, climbing nets, underground tunnels, scaling walls and other Top Secret Obstacles, not forgetting our brand new Big Wall Finisher....THE BLITZ!

No scenario training here...This course is for real and is guaranteed to reinforce your team's robustness, togetherness and reliance upon one another within a live, challenging and fun environment.

Transfers

  • You may exchange your entry for a Credit at a cost of £10.00 until 09/09/2019.
  • You will have 12 months (from the date of the event) to spend your credit. You may also use your credit to enter someone else.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 (inc VAT) for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.

Good Morning Survivors!

This year's muddy mission at Lowther Castle is almost upon us!

Put you feet up and take 5 minutes to read the below information and the attached Participants Event Guide. 

-ELITE WAVE - Sets off at 10:00am - if you have been given a flexible wave time, this is because we allow all Elite Competitors to have a 2nd lap of the course after their Elite Race (when they have had time to recover).
-Please arrive at least 1 hour before your wave start time as registration can get very busy.
-Car Park is CASH ONLY - £5 per car/ £10 per minibus. (Strictly no parking on approach roads, we have informed the local authorities and any unauthorized parked cars will be towed away.) 
-INOV8 are offering trainer hire at £5. Get in quick as they sell out fast!
-Course Maps will be available from the Born Survivor Merchandise Shop. (Please note we have limited stock). *These will be fully updated as we are still making tweaks to the course to ensure it is the most epic one yet.  
-Children's Scavenger Hunt - This year we have a kids scavenger hunt around the event village. All those that crack the code receive a Born Survivor Wristband and will also be entered into a prize draw to win an Epic Born Survivor Goodie Bag. £2.00 per Scavenger Hunt Pack. 

All official wave times have now been released. Please find attached your participants pack containing all the info you need to know about the event.

Important Event Information

Good Morning Survivors,

Here are just a few reminders of things to know ready for event day!

-Entries close at 12pm on 16.09.19, all UNREGISTERED entries need to ensure they have filled out their details fully before this date or they will not be able to take part on event day. (Unregistered entries are people who used the quick sign up option where they paid for their ticket but didn't fill out their details).
-The opportunity to transfer or defer entries has now passed. If you can't take part no one can fill in for you & you cannot transfer to another event. 
-All official wave times will be released on 17.09.19.

On Event Day:
-On arrival please ensure you have your £5 at the ready for our car park marshals. (CASH ONLY)
-Ensure you arrive at least 1 hour before your start wave time as registration can get very busy! Registration opens at 8:45am!!
-Please queue in INDIVIDUAL surname NOT your team's name.
-Ensure you bring a signed waiver with you. If you haven't yet received yours, please see attached.
