The Kuranda to Port Douglas is a point-to-point race incorporated in the Mowbray National Park within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. It starts just off Kennedy Highway in Kuranda and follows Black Mountain Road through native rainforest, open eucalyptus forest, pine plantations and over picturesque creeks. The finish is on the famous Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas. The tropical rainforest is home to the endangered southern cassowary, a flightless bird that can grow to two metres in height - you might see one!

There are two options on race day:
1) 60km SOLO
2) 60km Team (2 to 4 members per team)
(Distance is normally 64km, but as a section of the track is closed, we've had to divert!).

Registration closes Thursday 4.00pm, 4/08/2022
Transport requests are CLOSED. You will need to sort out your own transport to the start line and back home from Port Douglas.



No refunds after 7 July 2022, there is a 90% refund on race fees prior to this.

The 60km K2PD SOLO is listed on the AURA website and AURA members receive a discount during our 'Standard Entry Fee' period.

Early Starters - select the early start wave if you are a slower/injured runner. You will need a headtorch.

Refunds/Transfers/Instalments

Transfers

  • You may exchange your entry for a Credit at a cost of 5% of your ticket price until 31/05/2022.
  • You will have 12 months (from the date of the event) to spend your credit. You may also use your credit to enter someone else.
